Is it time to fund growth or put the brakes on?

In our role with our clients, we've all faced decisions. Do we take the $40k loan? Do we apply for the EDC or BDC loans? Can we expect the new rent program to assist?

As we revisit our forecasts we realize the original business models are challenged. How do we re-evaluate our business models?

Oh, on that question watch out for our guest experience on a podcast tackling that exact topic.

When we look at our future growth we need to assess what financing looks like. Is it an option? How are the banks, lenders, investors & alternative shops looking at us in these unprecedented times?

We had the chance to talk to those very people! And with their collaboration along with our own perspective as business leaders and CFOs we've written an e-book to discuss the important topic.

Our E-Book is an in-depth dive into each of the '5Cs'. We've supplemented with case-studies from our own experiences and stories during 2020.

When your forecasts have multiple scenarios and assumptions and unknowns it can be a tough decision whether to invest in growth by obtaining financing. For some companies, it is more appropriate to grind and focus on organic growth. Investing in the team and culture and keeping focus is the right answer for some. Others are in cost-conservation mode. They are looking to earn more profit from their current operations and to grow through conservative decisions. In the short-term, this can be successful. Actual growth never results from a focus on costs but in times like this, you need to get a handle on where every dollar earns ends up.

Even if now isn't the time to get additional funds you will still want to consider the questions and insights we raise. They are important to your current bank relationships, investor relations and financing. The analysis of your business model is timely and our E-Book will help you lead through it.

Year-end, Maternity Leave or Other Help?

We have launched Recruiting. We have many amazing candidates.

Some are part of a growing trend of employees ready to confidentially move on. Read more about the business leader problem you might not realize you have here. We know cultures have been challenged and some teams are struggling. We also know that leading from afar can be challenging. We will send a newsletter to discuss remote working soon.

Other candidates are career contractors we've worked with for years at Amplify. They are respected and appreciated by the clients we assign them to. They are coming available soon. Ryan would be happy to discuss their skillsets in greater detail.

In summary, we have a senior financial analyst that has been successful in financial services, manufacturing, retail & other industries. Technology, financial reporting & full cycle accounting are areas of strength. We also have a manager that has been impactful in energy, manufacturing, agriculture & other industries. Consolidation, team leadership and financial reporting are some areas of expertise.

In addition, due to the state of our economy, we have unemployed candidates that would be amazing assets to any team. A number of our former team members from previous companies that we worked at have reached out to us looking for opportunities.
